In today's society, recognition and appreciation have become significant to many individuals. In our group and on our site, we recognize noteworthy accomplishments such as Photo of the Week, but we do not claim superiority. We proudly display your award-winning photos in our galleries and share them with you. Although we acknowledge our imperfections, we strive to provide you with the best possible experience using our intelligent features, magazines and books. Our ultimate goal is to help you appreciate your own photography as well as that of others, whilst also encouraging thought and contemplation.

John Gill - A lesson in how to make the ordinary look extraordinary, with balance, composition and powerful storytelling.

Ludovit Graus - This is a powerful image, a classic scene of poverty and deprivation. Unfortunately it’s not part of a series shot decades ago, it’s today’s reality in Cuba.

Ubo Pakes – Hard work is transformed into a beautiful picture, enhanced by the skillful use of light and colour by Ubo Pakes.

Erik Corduwener – It’s a quirky shot. With the jaunty rider dressed in orange popping out from the teal blue background it has a feelgood factor.

Jay Tanen - There’s something shocking about the sharp abutment of colours which accentuates the protagonist’s wary look. Part of a series by Jay, he’s timed and composed this beautifully.

Sameer M Shah – "A dialogue in color: Two figures occupy opposite ends of a vibrant geometric playground where cobalt blue floors meet terracotta walls.

Petros Kotzabasis - With the coy look from behind that open hand gesture and the diagonal of the road to accentuate the journeying, this image tells a classic story.

Fabrizia Secchi - I have no idea what the storyline is here but the simplicity and surreality of this beautiful image has won me over.

Victor Borst - This week’s Cover choice is a great example of juxtaposition, the gritty mood amplified by Victor’s characteristic strong contrast and fine composition.

Sultan Koç - While her facial expression is open to interpretation, her body language conveys defiance and resilience, making it a powerful image.

Patty DeJuneas – The composition enhances the storytelling, but the boy’s curious expression captures the image's essence, conveying an energy between the photographer and the subject.

Ludovit Graus This image captures the mood of a world that feels like it’s regressing. A strong b/w, beautifully executed.

Fabrizio Secchi - There’s intrigue here. The striding legs, reflected in the highly polished floor, serve to make the figure in the corner look even more vulnerable.

Cameron Scott - This image speaks for itself.

Niklas Lindskog - The image chosen may seem simple but there’s something very ‘street’ about the pick-up of colours and the knowing look on the protagonist’s face. It’s beautifully crafted.

Patricia Kerkhofs - A vibrant moment captured beautifully. The author skillfully uses shadow play and silhouette to enhance the twin conversations in the composition.

Simone Christina Sander - From the tyre tracks in the foreground to the mountains on the skyline, this shot oozes adventure. A beautifully balanced composition with a story.

Sultan Koç - This image, with its depiction of simple rural life, has an almost festive feel to it. A beautiful image for this hectic period, a pause for reflection.

Mario Barrela -A beautiful storytelling image. The light almost gives it wings.

Antonio Delgado Torres - At first glance, this scene seems like a simple, beautiful still life on the street, but there's more beneath the surface.

I love the storytelling in this zac image, it can be interpreted in so many ways. The composition and colours are a treat.

Cameron Scott – I couldn’t resist choosing this image for its warmth and light. The feeling of bonhomie exudes in abundance. A wonderful capture.

Jay Nabbe – A mood. A blur of lights. A well crafted and beautiful image.

Rene Geensen – This is a landscape made otherworldly by the fog but the storytelling and human element within this beautifully composed frame bring us back to reality.

Roberto Panichelli –The artist is captured in his work with a clever slow shutter speed, blending bike wheels and their owner into the scene. It's a wonderful image.

Antonio Delgado Torres – The rain, neutral palette, and protagonist’s somber expression effectively convey a sad mood, while the drooping flags add a touch of despondent color.

Bruce Saille – A beautiful b/w, whose clever storytelling leaves much to the imagination of the viewer.

Uwe Schröder - Catching the light of the silver screen this lady stands out. Surely aware of the photographer’s presence a knowing smile plays upon her lips. A lovely portrait.

Boy Jeconiah – An intriguing shot which makes best use of the light.

Ryhor Cisiecki – An atmospheric b/w that screams film noir. Evocative storytelling with a classic feel.

Nadia Eechkout –Nadia must have felt her heart skip a beat when she saw the lady through the steamy window of a cafe: athe modern-day Emily Brontë sitting and writing.

Sam Benari - A beautiful portrait of a couple so wrapped up in their own world that even the presence of the photographer doesn’t steal anything away from the mood. An immaculate b/w.

Ketan Shah - The layers suggest the playing out of thoughts in the protagonist’s mind: a woman reaching out for help while the man, back turned, walks away. This image would make a great book cover.

Niklas Lindskog - Imagining Niklas's excitement as an almost empty street comes to life with a jogger, possibly checking her reflection in a window as she rushes past.

Cassian Edwards - The jumbled-up "donut" letters on the cerise wall, the vendor's wonderful smile, and the summer-clad woman walking past all make this image feel good.

Lodolf Von Der Graus – There’s something very film noir about this image that puts me in mind of Hitchcock’s thrillers. A beautifully executed b/w with powerful storytelling.

Sultan Koç I really like the intimacy and spontaneity of this photograph. It captures strong interactions and expressions, drawing you into the moment.

Corinne Spector The composition and quality of this image are superb. The way the subjects have been captured by Corinne's camera is reminiscent of a Dutch Master's work.

David Williams This photo captures city life with people going about their business and hats being sold. Strong quality of the black and white

Victor Borst- The striking photo features the main character positioned to avoid glare and distortion. The long shadows draw you in, making you wonder about other stories in the frame.

Simone Christina Sander I was instantly wowed by the sun bursting through this image of a mum driving her daughter away from a friend’s party

Jay Tanen – Seeing Jay's image instantly took me back to the 70s and David Bowie's Glam Rock era. The vibrant portrait was taken at a Mermaid Parade in New York, exuding present-day fun.

Mario Barrela – It’s a shot made all the more poignant by the fact that the background splendour is rendered bokeh, simply background to this one interaction. Beautiful.

Metin Yener A compelling portrait in which the intensity of the protagonist is further highlighted by the sharp focus on the eyes, whilst the character in the background adds story. beautiful b/w

Chris Talbot – At first glance this week’s choice may just seem like a queue of people but it’s more than that: faces to read, interactions to wonder at, moods aplenty. A beautifully edited b/w image.

Batsceba Hardy – Mildly surreal, the first time I saw this railway sleeper I thought I was looking at someone tucked up in bed. A beautiful image and mood capture.

Rick Smith – This image moved me. Maybe it’s just my interpretation but the old lady looks really vulnerable and the way it’s been shot and edited emphasises that feeling.

Rajarshi Bhattacharjee – The joy that exudes from these wild celebrations is palpable. A wonderful shot that makes me smile.

B.D. Colen– Low light, gritty composition, well seen. The poster, to the right of frame, draws your attention to the old lady in the foreground, looking perplexed within a fast moving world.

Ziv Zadok – This week’s Cover is chilling. It may just be a broken toy, discarded, lying in the road but it speaks of more, so much more. It’s for the viewer to decide the story.

Batsceba Hardy - Impressions from an overnight trip: we are struck by the loneliness that seems to pervade this futuristic society

Michael C Geiss – It's raining or, better, hailing, and a boy is looking for shelter. The scene features moving colours, a grey wall that seems infinite, and a beautiful play of light.

Theodoros Topalis – a shadowy figure, telling one story and another - reflected in the mirror - telling another. It’s an image both beautiful and intriguing.

Lola Minister - This week’s Cover is a wonderfully framed moment with a comic twist. I don’t know if this is just a sour puss or if it was having a bad day but the expression is priceless.

Наталья Суслова – The soft colour palette, use of light and composition are all wonderful but the feeling that you’re looking at a still from some Marvel movie is what really makes this.

Petros Kotzabasis – There’s something so cinematic about this scene, even down to the strong contrast b/w, that this has to be Cover this week.

Runar Holen – A modern vehicle parked uphill from a dramatic waterfall provides a subtle juxtaposition in this old industrial sector. It’s a wonderfully composed image, a beautiful cityscape.

Trevor Gwin – Oh, the leading lines, the storytelling and the sassy, provocative look… How could I not choose this wonderful b/w ?

P-o Alfredsson - It’s a beautiful scene, where the young lovers seem oblivious of everything around them, locked in their tender moment.

Alberto M. Melis - Keef Charles A mesmerising b/w rendition that makes you feel like more than just an observer, as your mind dances amidst the noise and excitement.

Rajib Singha - This week’s Cover is a colourful panning shot that captures the dynamism and tempo of street life in a magical way.

Corinne Spector Amidst the backdrop of mountains and rustic buildings runs a little girl, through her village. This rural scene cries out with stories. A wonderful, evocative image.

Baruch Gian This week’s Cover is a minimal image of predominantly creamy white and red hues. A frame split between near and far, focus and bokeh. A beautiful scene laced with meaning.

Victor Borst This is a beautiful example of candid street, of which Victor is a master. It’s more than just a portrait of a pretty girl, it’s part of a scene, an interaction, a moment on the street.

Elpidio Talens Juan-Aside from the great composition, it’s the duality of the storytelling and the feeling of serenity that hooked me with this beautiful image.

Theodoros Topalis-This week’s Cover is perfectly executed. It’s a clean composition, making best use of light, mood and timing.

Sultan Koç – This week’s Cover is an exceptional shot. The minimalism serves to highlight the harsh conditions, in which people find a way to survive.

Lola Minister - I’ve chosen this image as Cover because it has such an epic feel to it, with undertones that suggest of greater events.

Doug Hilson – The natural pose of the child, the depth of the gaze and the patina of the rustic wall behind make this a simple but striking portrait.

Grace Ho Pui Wan- A strong image, made all the more intense for its quiet and understated composition. Beautiful and meaningful.

Bruce Saille ...the mood hit me even harder when I read Bruce’s recounting of how an SUV drove through the parade two years ago, injuring 62 and killing 6.

John St The strong contrast between the pensive silhouette and the beautiful colours of the background won me over with this shot. A striking image.

Michael Kennedy shoots at close range much of the time but the sense of fun is heightened, as those under his gaze, move in to fill the screen.

Greg Rogalsky -Unlike many a shot of homeless lain in doorways this photograph has an almost cheerful aura.

Christian Stops This image is powerful. The slow shutter suggests a story, as if there’s a link between the blurred protagonist and the residence that they hurry past, in ghostly fashion.

Jay Tanen This image has been chosen for its cinematic quality. With the help of the bokeh background and intense close up of the protagonist offers a story from times gone by.

Lodolf Von Der Graus This image has been chosen for its atmospheric quality. You can almost feel the apprehension.

Nadia Eeckhout Chosen for its artistic qualities. In this image she adds a little extra intrigue to her portrait, with her painterly style.

Sultan Koc Chosen for its poignancy. This image, abounding with colour and expression speaks of unity, purpose and hope. It’s a wonderful capture.

Moody Allen Chosen for it’s surreality and beauty, this image is a wonderful juxtaposition. Set in a remote part of the world, the normality of the sport being played draws you back to everyday life.
